Land sea anenome

Dahlias are incredibly intricate, vivid flowers— they have, as the title likens, a striking resemblance to the numerously colored sea anemones, of which there is a namesake species. What makes this photograph spectacular, and what I love about it, is the intimate perspective of the dahlia’s core delicately unfurling in radiating waves. It’s all too easy to seize a flower’s whole and forget the parts, whereas here the details are accentuated in the natural lighting which pleasantly captures the fluid softness of each petal. My only friendly advice would be to carefully edit out spots and slightly adjust the brightness.
